Sears ,Tin Indy Car, Yonezawa of Japan ,Rare Watson-Offy! - $425 - (Sag Harbor, NY)
A version of this Watson-Offy also sold by Sears. Made by Yonezawa in Japan in 1962, The tires look like designed for off-road use and the decor is very lean. No driver was supplied with this one, but an extra front and rear wheel as well as an extra knock-off and a cable to "drive" this battery powered car was included in the colorful box. Again, a rare toy. There are no extras with this just the care, battery door is also missing , there is no box, has rust damage from batteries being left in it for years, all and all good for display ,(one side looks good) ,or parts, wheels are loose but can be repaired , sold as is usa sales only! see my other auctions have two others coming up one like this and one green one thats not battery powered .Also just notice one from spinner has one broken wing, must of just happen ...still a nice car and I have seen spinner on eBay in the past. thank you
