HICKORY MANUFACTURING This lovely four-drawer desk is produced in 100% Honduran mahogany circa 1952. The mahogany is the species Swietenia Macrophylla and is now a restricted source of timber; also referred to as Genuine Mahogany or Honduran Mahogany. Measures4 29.5" tall, 44.25" wide and 24" deep - drawer handles add a further 3/4". Many components of this desk are produced from solid mahogany with the desk finished on all sides so it can free stand in a room is desired. The pedestal features three drawers (one being a file drawers) and a pencil drawer is beneath the top. Note the sculpted handles, and beveled solid mahogany edging to the pedestal and all facets of this desk. Ideal for use in home in a study or bedroom setting. Entirely refinished in lacquer and in excellent condition. Any marks that remain are insignificant. Signed by branded stamp for the manufacturer. Will be sent via Blanket Wrap white glove shippers to lower 48 states.
