Lot 1930s 40s CHICAGO BUSINESS MATCH COVERS~ Bank Jewelry Laundry+ UNUSED vtg IL Up for sale is.... A lot of 10 match covers from the 1930s and 40s advertising CHICAGO BUSINESSES. Five of these have 4-digit phone numbers which indicates that they were made before 1948, when Chicago ceased using the 4-digit system. Two others have patent dates on them that expired in 1947. And the remaining 3 (as well as some others) were made by Match Corp of America, which was active in the 1930s and 40s.The 6 on the left of the main photos are FULL and UNSTRUCK.Good to Very Good Condition....Please see photos for condition.
