VTG Indiana University Fightin' Hoosiers, "Hail to Old I.U." Drinking Glass, 8oz - $18 - (Huntington, IN)
Up for auction is a Vintage 1950's? (description found on one website) drinking glass, featuring a football player from the Fightin' Hoosiers of Indiana University and the First Verse of the School Song. This vintage drinking glass is a "must have" for an I.U. Alumni or current student. The glass measures 4 1/2" high and is 2" in diameter at the base and 2 5/8" in diameter at the top. This glass holds 8 ounces of liquid. It is in gently used condition, with some minor "fog" in the bottom of it. The graphics on the glass are in excellent condition & there are no chips or cracks on it. I purchased this drinking glass at a local garage sale, so don't know anymore history of it.
