This is an auction for a Large Johnny Lee Pudlat 23" Serpentine Stone Carving of an Inuit Hunter Carrying a Seal over his Shoulder. See Condition Description above for details concerning condition. Johnny Lee Pudlat ( 1971 - ) lives and works in Cape Dorset, Nunavut. He specializes in animals native to the Arctic region and uses green mottled serpentine stone which is native to the Cape Dorset area. Carving is signed on the bottom of one foot, and, has a Canadian Igloo Sticker on the bottom of the other foot. The carving is quite large and heavy, however, perfectly balanced. It measures 23" in height X 7" in width X 8" in depth, and, weighs 29.7 pounds. I have used a super macro digital setting and supersized the pictures so you can see exactly what you would be purchasing. Pictures are also an integral part of the item description.
