Onkyo TX-SR607 - $130 - (La Grange, GA)
Nice receiver pulled from Living Room media center. It does exhibit the symptoms of capacitor plague on the HDMI board. It does not show the onscreen menu on the TV and it takes a while for the display to come up on components routed through the HDMI board, once up to temp, HDMI switching is flawless. I have replaced 1 of the caps, i have not yet on the 4 others. I can include these in the auction if the winning bidder is capable of soldering on a PCB, this would (99% of time) solve the HDMI warm up, onscreen and switching issues. All connections to the analog or other digital inputs/outputs work as they should. This is a very nice receiver, just a shame Onkyo used inferior components and lack of adequate spacing for heat distribution. Comes from a smoke free home and out of a media rack, so it is clean.
