(1836) HT-141 Houck's Panacea on 1830 Bust Half PCGS AU55 Among Finest Known CHN - $3,250 - (Florence, MA)

This exciting find was sold to us by an advanced bust half collector and slabbed by us. Flashy and pretty, it does have significant hairlines when tilted under magnification. An XF45 recently sold for circa $2400 and we are not aware of any certified uncs. A prize for the advanced bust half or hard times token collector, these were counterstamped in 1836 by the Houck's Panacea (medical remedies, quack by today's standards) of Baltimore, MD. Massachusetts Buyers ONLY: 6.25% MA sales tax on orders under $1000.
