It was little used and is rated to be in 9.8/10 Mint Condition. I see no wear at all but for the right top front corner of the nameplate. Otherwise looks fresh new. Item comes with an original Nikon F2AS Instruction Manual in the Original INTACT Matching Serial # Box. Mechanics: Carefully tested all functions. Everything proved to be working 100% perfect. Nikon DP-12 Photomic Prism Finder The Nikon DP12 is the most advanced, precision pentaprism finder designed to fit any F2 Nikon camera body. The DP-12 incorporates the Nikon center-weighted TTL metering system which concentrates 60% of the reading within the 12mm diameter central portion of the view field so metering is precise for varied lighting situations and covers virtually 100% of the picture image frame as seen through the eyepiece. One outstanding new feature with the DP-12 is the provision for operation with the new AI (Automatic Maximum Aperture Indexing) NIKKOR lenses capable of automatic maximum aperture indexing during mounting on the camera body. The meter coupling lever present on the DP-12 engages the meter coupling ridge provided on these new lenses allowing lens/meter coupling and automatic indexing of the lens maximum aperture. And the DP-12 is also fitted with a small viewing prism at the base of the front plate which allows Aperture Direct Readout (ADR) from the extra aperture values scale present on the lens aperture ring.
