LOT OF 3 LILY HAND WEAVING YARNS 20/3 BLUE TIP CONE 1 LB. BELDING LILY CO. - $30 - (Salem, VA)
art 314 size 20/3 and color 862 weights 1 lb on cone have three. This early yarn comes on its original blue top thick cardboard cone and retains quite a bit of its original cellophane cover. The cellophane on the front shows the blue & yellow colors of the label along with a loom and under that it says, "Fast Colors - Uniform Quality". The company name is at the bottom, "BELDING LILY CO, SHELBY NC 28150". This old mill began producing weaving yarn in the 1940s. The 'stick on' label on the back says, "ART 314, Size 20/3, with the color name -Natural. The Lily name with the cotton symbol is also present. This same label is on the inside of the cone. A nice addition to your textile & sewing advertising collectibles. SIZE: Label says 20/3; Cone stands 7" tall x 4 3/8" diameter of the bottom CONDITION: Pre-owned - unused; Does show signs of wear & tear to the cellophane wrapper that has breaks from storage .
