Tommie is a 15.1h Appaloosa mare who had her left eye surgically removed after an accident when she was coming three. She had 60 days of training as a 2 year old then went on to become a broodmare. Although her groundwork has continued throughout her life and she knows the feel of a saddle, Tommie has not had a rider on her back since her younger years. She has always been loved and cared for and when she did not throw color on her babies, her owners decided to turn her over to us rather than send her to a sale barn. We have had her just over 2 years and she has spent her time with us learning to acclimate to a herd and pasture space. Tommie is ready for the next stage in her life and would make an excellent partner for the right family who understands her special needs. Her adoption payment is $700.
