Ebay Page 6-2015 BEAUTIFUL Late 1800s ANTIQUE HAND QUILTED PETTICOAT Offering this beautiful ANTIQUE HAND QUILTED PETTICOAT. Found packed away in a blanket chest, passed down through the generations. Petticoat was never worn or laundered. It is in great condition. It is overall clean and crisp. There are a few scattered storage stains. Please see photos, use zoom. The quilting is very well done with approximately 9-10 stitches per inch. The button hole is hand stitched as well. Whether you are a quilt person or vintage clothing person, this is a nice addition to your collection. MEASUREMENTS: Quilting STITCHES PER INCH: 9-10 WAIST: 25” button closed. (waist can be extended with elastic band) Waist to Hem: 39” Hips: Approx. 68” Width at Hem: Approx. 86” CONDITION: Excellent, never worn never washed. Packed away for years, it does have some age spotting here and there, but over all fabric is crisp and nice.
