Beautiful book from a limited printing of 300 in 1962, this is a special history of British racing stock with a wonderful history of the Arabian horse. It includes "368 plates of half-tone and 24 plates in colour, and many diagrams in the text." It has a lovely red cloth binding and is hardback with gold lettering on the spine. It comes in a hard case of red that is also in good condition with notable wear on the corners as shown in the photos. This is a vintage copy and has an inscription to the original owner inside. There are some slight brown spots on the front blank page but the inside pages are not marred at all. It includes a fold out map of Arabia with a slight tear (less than an inch) at one corner. The book and binder weigh 8.8 lbs. I am not a book seller or book expert but I would say this vintage copy is in good condition. It is a fabulous resource for the Arabian horse or racing enthusiast. Comes from a smoke free home.
