Vintage Mid Century "Hand Wrought Creations by Rodney Kent" #453 Pitcher, Hammered AluminumDoes show some signs of wear, light scuffs, pitting and fine scratches. Tulip floral design. Decorative handle and ice lip attached with rivets. Inscription on bottom somewhat worn. "Hand Wrought Creations by Rodney Kent". Approx. 9 1/2" x 5 1/2"Rodney Kent has the distinction of being the last major company to enter the aluminum gift ware field during its heyday (1950s) and of being the first to be recognized by the few dealers who actually noticed aluminum. Rodney Kent was not a person. The name actually came from an intersection of Kent and Rodney Streets. The manufacturer was Krischer Gift Ware.
