1832 Antique CZECH Religious Book Sedmnactero Kazani 17 SermonsThis Czech religious book was published in Prague in 1832. Its title translates roughly to "Seventeen Sermons" by Ignacya Feigerle. (The old Czech script and archaic language is hard to understand, even for a native speaker!) The back of the title page is a letter written in German. The sermons themselves were given between 1819-1828. The book looks like it is silk fabric over boards. There's gilding on the fabric and gilt edges. I'm not sure if this is the original binding. The end papers are a heavy green paper. There are losses to the fabric and age spotting to the cover. There is also a signature (see photos) from 1833.
