This listing is for an extremely rare Kansas City Montgomery Ward fall and winter 1943-1944 catalog. It has over a thousand pages of captivating advertising ephemera. Despite the visible defects the pages are in very good condition. This catalog is a must have for any vintage ephemera collector. It's a glimpse into a 1943 time capsule. The women's and men's fashion, housewares, and jewelry of the time period are breathtaking. A nice addition to a costume directory, film library, or time period reference/ research guide. Although this catalog is a wonderful page turner it does have some flaws due to shelf wear and age. There seems to be staining from moisture, bends, tears, smudges, old book odor.
