8 yo OTTB Mare - $2,000 - (Albany, OR)

Sharpenthetrick aka Penny is a 16h 8 y.o. OTTB mare who is ready for a new adventure and a new home. I bought her back in July with the intention of using her for trail and arena riding but I unfortunately do not have the time or skills to offer her the training that she needs to get there. She was sold to me as a broke horse that needed work with transitions but after working with her I would describe her more as green broke. She raced for a few years was a polo horse for a few years and then sat in a stall with a small sacrifice area and was only rode 3 times in 3 years by her previous owner before I bought her. She is a nice horse comes when called and likes to be around people. She does have some vices including spooking at times albeit at things like our neighbors dogs that ran up at her at our fence line or things thats shes never seenheard. Please keep in mind that she doesnt have a lot of life experience so with some desensitizing she would probably be less spooky.
