Antique Sewing Needle Box In Book Form With Bird Print Inside Tiny - $80 - (North Haven, CT)

Up for sale is this antique sewing needle box, it is in the form of a miniature book. When you open the box there is a tiny print of birds in a nest. Please note that the strap to hold the flap is broken. I have seen similar examples of these referred to as English and likely mid 1800's, circa 1840 - 1850, but I'm am not an expert so use your own judgement. I received it with some other items from the Daggett (New Haven, Yale) family estate, including 2 other sewing or trinket boxes that predate 1840 ( those are being listed separately).
