1910 National Marine Company Bow Navigation Lantern - $339 - (Ocracoke, NC)

From a southern coastal estate: circa 1910 National Marine Lamp Co. Bow Running/Signal Lantern. This is a beautiful old brass bow lamp in beautiful condition with red and blue Fresnel lens. It has a very unusual triangular shape that I have not seen before with a large hanging ring at the top. The inner tin oil lamp with rear reflector is intact and easily slides in and out on built-in skids. Size: 11" tall by 14" wide by 9" wide. Stamped "Manufactured by National marine Lamp Co. New York." I am dating this at about 1910 - give or take a few years. This lamp is ready to be used again - amazing after 100 years of age. Priced at $339.
