Vintage Wendy Lawton Little Bo Peep Doll Ashton Drake - $22 - (Magee, MS)

This is the first issue in the Wendy Lawton's Nursery Rhymes collection designed by Wendy Lawton and produced under the hallmark of the Ashton-Drake Galleries. The edition of Little Bo Peep ended forever on December 31, 1994, at which time the mold was broken and no more of these dolls were ever made. This is doll number 7231 in a limited edition. Little Bo Peep is complete with her cane and lamb. She's beautifully dressed and still in her original box. She's wearing a green and white striped dress with a black waist cincher tied with a pink ribbon, a white cap edged in the same ruffle that trims the edge of her dress, bloomers and pink shoes. There are tears on her face because she has lost her lamb. The accompanying lamb is off white felt. This is a truly beautiful doll. She is about 16" tall and comes with her Certificate of Authenticity.
