Sanyo MBC-555 550 series Vintage Computer Worlds First Ibm Clone - $300 - (San Diego, CA)
A rare find, a complete Sanyo MBC 550 IBM clone complete with keyboard and original monitor. This was the first commercially available IBM cloud computer targeted for the office environment at a much better price, although it could not run the same software as the IBM it was 80% compatible and had versions of wordprocessing software or used on the IBM specially program for it, you could not run the same software but you could exchange files from the program Overall it's in great condition with some minor blemishes please see photos. This computer had just enough bios to spend the disk drive and the rest of the bios was loaded on the disk with the operating system which unfortunately I do not have. Unit is working great, with a little patience he eventually you may find an appropriate software or if you're serious collector may be already have it.
