RARE 1946 Black Patsy Joan by Effanbee in original dress - $900 - (Salado, TX)
RARE Patsy Joan 16" composition doll by Effanbee marked Effanbee on her upper back. She is dressed in her original dress with shoes and socks. Does need to be restrung but still stands fine with her stand. General rubs and wear around joints but for her age she looks excellent. Needs repair on one fingertip see picture. She does have nail polish. I did not take her shoes off but you can see that back of one shoe has damage. Dress is very good with no tears- no snaps in back. Composition looks good. I have had her in my cabinet for 20+ years very well protected from temperature or sun. I am not an expert on Patsy dolls so please ask any questions. I believe she is circa 1946.
