Antique Cranberry Coin Spot Pickle Cruet Castor in Silverplate Frame - $350 - (Woodstock, ON)
Fine estate condition pickle castor set with no breaks,cracks,chips or bends in frame. The antique Cranberry inverse thumbprint insert is in a Toronto Silver Plate Company frame with a set of tongs. Item stands approximately 12" tall by 6" diameter. Silver frame needs a good polishing has a Toronto Silver Plate Company mark as well as a 0125 imprint. The company was founded in 1882 by James A. Watts. The firm was purchased in 1914 by Wm. A. Rogers & Co Ltd (Canada) and the mark ceased to be used in 1929. The antique cranberry glass insert is a snug fit to the frame base and is approximately 5" tall by 3" diameter. Item comes from a smoke free home.
