New condition Sterling Silver Romeo and Juliet Pens bought at same time directly from Montegrappa in the year they came out. These have been kept since new in a climate controlled environment between 68 and 78 degrees F. These are new condition with zero issues except that there is a hairline crack on the Romeo wooden box that can been seen on the pictures. According to a fine woodworking cabinet maker that evaluated the Romeo box, he believes the hairline crack on the Romeo box is due to humidity wherein the outer layer of the box structure was glued to the inner layer (at the factory) and the two woods moved at different amounts with changes in humidity. The Juliet box is 100 percent perfect though. We should mention that the condition of the wooden boxes and their finish are identical condition as when the factory shipped them to us originally (except for the unpreventable hairline crack on the top of the Romeo box).
