Make America great agaon! Unique, authentic handwriting and Reagan signature! Reagan crossed out his Hollywood return address and wrote his current addressIn 1956, Ronald Reagan spoke in Lima, Ohio. At that time, he was a spokesperson for GE, and he usually spoke on the wastefulness and intrusiveness of government which he believed should "be reduced to the barest minimum." My grandmother and some of her friends (one was a missionary home from Costa Rica) were at the engagement. The missionary (Richard Foulkes) was also an artist. He was so taken with what Reagan said in his speech, that he was inspired to draw or paint a portrait of him. My grandmother sent the portrait to Reagan, who then wrote this letter of thanks. Reagan's letter and his handwritten envelope (both sides) are professionally museum mounted. On the back of the frame is a pocket containing the missionary card of the Foulkes family.
