Machine runs off a computer not the old paper tapes so you can either load in a 3 1/2 inch floppy to add the design or we just used it on the network and had all of our designs in a file and we could access them all at any time. You just need to use an older operating system. The current computer that comes with it works just fine right now. Machine Runs and sews.. We only have an issue with one head.. But now we have up graded so we do not have the space for this anymore.
