Wall hanging, Appliqued, floral, Sunflowers in a brown pot, approx 13" x 15" - $35 - (Priest River, ID)

This is an art quilt wall hanging that is approx 13 1/2 inches by 15 1/2 inches. It is made by fusing flowers, leaves, and pot (carefully cut out form several different cotton fabrics) to a background fabric. I then machine outlined everything with either a straight or a satin stitches, using threads in matching colors. The vase is a brown with a bit of a gold leaf imprint. The background fabric is one that I have hand painted in pretty pastel sunrise colors. All fabrics are cotton, as is the batting. It is backed with an all-over print of small sunflowers. The back has been neatly folded over the front to both bind and border the quilt. Most people hang using tacks or quilt clamps.Please request a hanging sleeve if you intend to display using a rod or doweling. I can usually put one on the next day after payment is received. Please remember that colors may vary on different monitor screens. If you are buying more than one item, I will combine shipping and handling when possible, so do wait for an invoice before paying.
