Sun Bonnet Babies, locally made applique quilt - $55 - (Gordo, AL)

I don't believe this quilt was actually used, or if it was not very darn much. Seems like new... or as new as a hand crafted item gets. Absolutely no defects other than some fold lines that will come out easily. This is an applique quilt. Basically two sheets with batting in between, then the bonnet babies and squares sewn on some by hand, with some by sewing machine. the bonnet babies have hand stitching all around them. Made by a local lady out of whatever material is available. they use sheets because they can be had easily, and are big enough without being sewn together. I have bagged this and vacuum packed it, so it should stay fresh, but still it will be a fairly large heavy box. International shipping is available but VERY expensive.
