ANTIQUE 1908 MINIATURE VICTORIAN SIGNED PASTEL PORTRAIT TRI FOLD SHARKSKIN CASE - $175 - (Winchester, TN)

Antique , circa 1908, pastel portrait , signed and dated by the artist Gaynor Clayton on a large brass hanging medallion, I believe it is his wife in the portrait , as he exhibited at the Canterberry Art Exposition in 1905 with a portrait of his wife, In a fancy fold over Shark Skin case (there is slight shrinkage due to age, & a good leather treatment will loosen it up). This is a spectacular brass framed medallion is in great condition. The medallion measures 3.5 inches tall, with the case 4 X 4.75 inches tall and 8 inches when opened. (125) (RB)
