RARE Vintage SET Pink Linen Collar & Flaps Costume Theater Maid Servant D. Abbey - $8 - (Uncasville, CT)

This pretty vintage set consists of 2 sections of shaped collars and 2 cuffs or possibly pocket flaps. They are all a salmon pink, linen with matching tatting-looking (machine made) edging. The collar section is bound with a brighter pink bias tape and hand-stitched. The tape on the cuffs is machine stitched. The collar sections measure about 7.5" long and about 2.5" at the widest part. The flaps or cuffs are about 7.25" x 3.5". They all appear to be lined, on the back, in something soft, like batiste. Although they look like baby pink in the photo, they have a touch of peach coloring to them. Not only would they add a nice vintage touch to a simple dress, but would also look great matted and framed. Can also be used in a memory quilt or as a costume. From non-smoking home.
