In September, 2016, I sold Shadow to a cute family who resides in Ill. but spends their winters in Florida. We had Shadow shipped to Florida. Karen has absolutely loved him and enjoyed him so much. But as life happens,.....she is now needing to find Shadow a loving home. Below is the e mail Karen sent to me this past week........which explains why he is for sale " I am sadly going to have to sell Shadow. I am having cataract surgery February and March plus going both months up to Illinois for a week to babysit my grandkids. So there will be almost no riding those months. We leave end of May for four months back to Illinois and I am not taking Shadow. Then when we return back to Florida in October I will be having hip surgery. So no riding for min of 6 mnths. Plus the 1st 3 mons I will be on a walker and or cane and don t know that I will be able to pull him out of pasture to even see him. It just isn t fair to him to be left in pasture for over a year let alone the expense of boarding without any reward.
