1950's Vintage DORSET FIFTH AVENUE Metal Egg Basket Purse / Bag Dorset Rex - $140 - (Red Hook, NY)

This is a really hard to find, amazing little purse! It's styled like a metal egg basket. There's a small black ribbon woven through the metal. Pull the handles apart to open the top. About 8.5" tall including handles and approximately 6" wide. A plaque on the inner bottom of basket reads Dorset Fifth Avenue. Some signs of slight rust and discoloration that I have not attempted to remove.
