Vintage Mid Century Rattan Furniture, Tiki Lounge - $1,800 - (North Adams, MA)

Vintage Mid Century Rattan Furniture set includes Couch, Two matching chairs, One coffee table, and four Heywood Wakefield ashcraft solid wood faux bamboo tables (2 couch end Tables, a high table and small table all two tiered)from the 1940's. Rattan Chairs and Couch originally made by New York Superior Reed and Rattan Company circa 1930's. Original spring cushions have been professionally reupholstered with high quality leopard fur fabric with welting piping and zipper backs if you ever decide to change cushions. Cushions are firm and sturdy with spring support but can be swapped out with foam if softer cushions are desired.The upholstery job for the ten cushions of this set cost $700 to do,and that was not including the cost of the fabric which was hundreds more. The Rattan furniture is in great sturdy shape with only minor scuffs from age. Cushions and upholstery are in excellent shape with no rips,stains,tears or odors or fades. The Heywood Wakefield tables are all structurally sound with no deep gouges or breaks but can all probably use a refinish especially the smallest table. They came in the Wheat stain finish. I can provide more close up pics of tables upon request. This set comfortably seats five people and would compliment any swanky Mid Century inspired apartment, Sunroom, Tiki Lounge, Mid Century house, urban hipster apt, basement bar or whatever you choose. Keep in mind they are upholstered for indoor use.
