1955 Singer 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine With Accessories and Case- A Beauty - $545 - (Brookline, MA)
This is a vintage 1955 Singer Portable Featherweight 221 Sewing Machine in excellent vintage condition. The foot controller with double cord works, plus many accessories plus the storage case and original manual. The serial number is AM184026 The machine is finished in shiny black enamel with the gold trim in excellent condition. It has the red letter S on the motor on the back side. The belt is in very good condition. The original Singer Sewing Machine Instructional Manual is included. The case is in very good shape for age. 2 Original Keys The black foot pedal with the original power cord looks like new Also included is the original Singer Sewing Machine Attachments box that has several attachments (not sure what they all are, but I included pics) Also included is an empty 4 oz. can of Singer Sewing Machine Oil. This is really a gem. Probably one of the best shape 55 Singers that is out there.
