The costume includes a skirt, apron, vest, blouse, jacket, and lace cap. One of the unique features of the costumes from this area of Slovakia is the lack of color with most costumes using only one color in addition to white (traditionally blue, black, or green). This gives the costumes a sophisticated look and draws attention to the fine whitework embroidery on the bonnet and the handmade bobbin lace on the blouse and bonnet. In addition to the basic elements, this costume also comes with a matching lightweight jacket that you have the option of wearing.
