Hirth Moto-Ski, Boa-Ski Sno-Prince Snowmobile Motor Piston - $65 - (Fullarton, ON)

You are bidding on a very rare NOS piston for an 82R4 Hirth 246cc 10hp motor used on many vintage snowmobiles including Moto-Ski, Boa-Ski, SnoJet and many other brands manufactured in the late 60's early 70's. I found this piston in a old Moto-Ski dealer inventory which I purchased some years ago. Please note, the markings on the box are NOT correct, it would appear the piston was packaged in the incorrect box, the correct Hirth P/N is 014.24/10. So its a 10 oversize piston and is 70.5mm in diameter, I checked it with my micrometer. PLease note it does come with the piston pin, the spring rings or circlips are missing. The standard size piston for this motor is 70mm and 10 over is .5mm. The piston was made by Mahle in Germany who I believe made parts for Hirth.
