It was purchased about 3 years ago from Washburn's in Orlando. The set is not used on a daily basis; usually just for special dinners. Although it does not get much use, it can certainly stand up to any abuse that a busy household would want to give. As stated above, the character of the wood is such that there are intended mars and scratches typical of this type of furniture. It has the signature character of reclaimed wood. It is a gorgeous and bold attention-getter. Sigh. Alas, we have downsized and must now downsize our dining set. Priced to sell. Again, local pick up. Thanks for looking.
