A large Brussels historical tapestry. Belgium / Flanders. Late 16th century. Flemish wool tapestry depicting a classical scene with a Caesar or Military leader accepting the conquered, possibly Scipio Africanus and Hannibal. Backed with linen. Approx. 9' x 11'9". Condition: Slightly cut down in size. Separation in upper portion. Fading throughout with most faded sections down center and in upper left corner. Linen lined. Please see pictures for details.
