A world-class work of art. 13 inch diameter marble Globe is graced with over 20 different types of semi-precious stones that are geographically placed according to the country for which they are famous. There's picture stone for China and Phoenix Jade for the US. White shell for Canada and Indonesia, plum blossom for Egypt, green flower for Australia. Rich blue lapis for the oceans and much more also features 24 karat gold latitude longitude lines and 35 inch copper floor stand with working compass. This was made for only a few years and after the first year or so they went to plating to reduce the price. This is from the original run, it is real copper and pure gold not plated like most of them. You will see these of the exact design but most are plated not pure. This was going to go in the wife's office but the room ended up being used for a baby room instead. It was unboxed when I first received it to inspect it and it's been boxed since then until just now for a picture. Delivery in original Carton and Insured delivery within the US included.
