Magnatone ToneMaster 2x12 Vintage INCREDIBLE CONDITION serviced by Terry Dobbs - $1,849 - (Cross Plains, WI)
Culling the herd and down getting down to the ones hard to part with - this is a Tonemaster 261 amp which is similar to the Magnatone 260 - the 6L6 version with no reverb, but with that out of this world Magnatone vibrato. As shown in the pictures, hard to believe this is a 60+ year old amp. It is not just a looker - it has been serviced by one of the best in the Magnatone world, Terry Dobbs, and is ready to be played. I am including the tubes came with it when I picked it up, including a matched pair of made in the USA vintage RCA 6L6 power tubes still going strong (see pictures). The 12AX7 preamp tubes are vintage Telefunken, all test good (pictures available on request). I replaced the original speakers with new Weber speakers to preserve them but will include the originals with the sale. One of the originals was in fine condition, one was raspy. Also will throw in a padded black Tuki cover ($70 new). Those that follow these amps know that you don't see one in this condition very often. The Kiwanis badge is included!
