Paiste Formula 602 15" Hi Hat Cymbals Vintage Pre-serial - $325 - (Santa Rosa Beach, FL)
For sale is a killer pair of vintage Paiste Formula 602 15" hi hat cymbals. 970 grams (top) 1130 grams (bottom). Pre-serial era w/ black ink "Paiste" ink logo and red ink "medium" (bottom hat) and "thin" (top hat) designations. I was told that they are a factory-matched set hi hats as opposed to two separate crash cymbals. I have no way of knowing for sure, and since they are pre-serial, I can't check the serial numbers. But they certainly fit well/close well together. They sound phenomenal - just what you'd hope for in a vintage pair of 602 hats. There is a nick/ding on the edge of the bottom cymbal (see picture). Other than that, I think that they are in great shape for their age. Obvious patina and logo fade due to their age.
