Vintage Technics RS-9900US Recording Amplifier & Tape Transport Cassette Deck - $1,000 - (Emmaus, PA)
For sale is a very rare Technics RS-9900US. It is in very good condition for the age. Please note: no remote is included, the 'tape select' and 'dolby nr' switch caps (pictured) are missing, and please see the picture of the minor surface rust on the cassette unit. It could easily be painted, but the paint is textured and I didn't want to strip and paint it at risk of it looking worse. I used a plastic brush to brush the surface rust away and I treated it with a rust inhibitor. The large multi-conductor cable is included. The drive belts will need to be replaced or perhaps treated. That should be expected for any vintage machine such as this. Old belts result in slipping, inconsistent spindle speed. Please study the photos and ask any questions. Sold as-is. ****These are two heavy and fragile units. I will take my time packing them and bubble wrapping them in their own boxes, and I will then package them together in one large box.
