Beautiful Rare Vintage Charles Frederick Stein Grand Piano 5'8", serial# 1683, built circa 1937. Great condition. Plays beautifully. Built of solid hard wood, a rare American made gem. Opens in low, medium, and high volume sound positions. Features full length base strings unlike a baby grand. A real treasure that is sure to bring much joy and enrich your home. Comes with a unique record history of being tuned as far back as 1937. Top has some color fade, but completely unnoticeable when opened. Last officially appraised in 2009 for $8,500, so it's worth more now. Has been kept in tune. Sadly, We're low on space and need the extra room.Info about manufacturer: Charles Frederick Stein's "instruments were know to be of superior quality and craftsmanship." One of his unique inventions was a "tone chamber" located between the strings and soundboard, patented in 1934.
