Obsolete Illinois State Police 75th Anniversary Badge. This badge was issued during the year of 1997 to a trooper in Dist 10 (X) out of Pesotum, IL. After 1997 all 75th badges were no longer authorized for uniform wear by ISP personnel. I purchased this badge directly from the trooper in 1999. This badge is no longer authorized for wear or use by any Illinois State Trooper and is legal for collectors to own. It is hallmarked by Nielsen on the back. The only 75th badges issued were made by Nielsen. No one else. The badge has been in my glass collection case for years and has a nice patina. It will easily shine with a quick cleaning if you like them sparkly. I've always preferred a patina. I will only ship to the US. No international buyers please.
