Hallmark Valentine For My Wife. Multifold-Satin/Linen Finish-Embossed-Tassle - $3 - (Miami, FL)
This is a lovely Valentine with all soft pink embellishments. The roses and leaves on the front are heavily embossed and the print is embossed metallic pink. All of the colors are muted. Inside there is a double fold parchment insert with three pages having sayings in red lettering expressing the loved one's most appreciated characteristics. The card is signed and dated 1990 by the sender. It has minor corner crimps (see photographs); the hassle is in nice condition. On back it says it is a Hallmark card "Printed in U.S.A., Made in Mexico"….something I've not noticed in other cards from Hallmark. The cover is of heavy stock with a linen finish while the roses are satiny in appearance and texture. This card measures 7" across and stands 10".
