Pulps were scanned in their plastic sleeves. Any areas of "light" are not present on the pulps themselves. Description: Complete Set of all 181 issue of "Doc Savage" & a complete set of it's sister publication, all 24 issues of "The Avenger". The Doc Savage set is VG average for the first 5 years and fine average across the last 15 years. The Avenger set is in fine condition overall. There are 205 issues overall. It is very hard to put these two sets together, especially in this sort of condition. The first issue of Doc Savage alone is nearly impossible to find in this complete VG grade. Published from 1933-1949 & 1939-1942 respectively. They are being sold together as "The Avenger" was the spin-off and sister publication of "Doc Savage". Both sets take up the equivalent of three "comic long boxes" for storage purposes. Again, there are 205 pulp magazines total between the two complete sets. Many more then are pictured.
