Hand-knotted Tibetan Rug One-of-a-Kind Approximately 3'11" x 5'8" 100-knot weave (about 3/8" thick) Organic Tibetan wool pile (the foundation is cotton) Handknotted in Nepal ------------------------------------ 2.5" square checkerboard pattern. Great looking rug with medium blue and tan squares. The blue comes from the indigo--a natural dye that creates lots of subtle color variations. The blue is darker in the middle and at one end. Very unique and charming rug. Well made rug and extremely durable. The trimming on one edge is slightly uneven (see last two images), but it's not something people would notice--the price has been reduced for this reason. This rug was made by Garuda Woven Art which makes rugs with all natural dyes and no chemical treatments, so there is no toxic offgassing.
