Chinese Mid 20th Century Hammered Copper Water Pitcher W/Dragons - $48 - (Southern Pines, NC)

Offering a craftsman made, medium weight copper water pitcher of hammered copper. Made for export, this authentic regional tradesman-made pitcher is all hand crafted and features low-relief repousse Dragons. It is a nice size, standing about 12.25" total height. It has an applied foot and is stamped "China" on the bottom. From the mid-twentieth century, it has some signs of age and use, a few light bumps, but no significant issues. Please zoom all the photos for an accurate description. It is perfectly water-tight. The copper is tinned nicely on the exterior, but the interior is oxidized. It pours an elegant, neat, flat stream of water from its wide pouring surface.
