I have never seen Marantz 2500 with the universal transformer. This was purchased in Japan by a former Navy officer who was stationed there back in 1980's. Works well, no issues. ALL original, never fiddled with. ALL functions works as intended. I intentionally kept it original and asked my tech to just clean the pots and bring it up to the factory specs, so the next owner can have an option to either service it or keep all original. It was serviced in Jan 2017. Comes with a copy of owners manual, service manual, schematics. Receiver section serial # P010040 Pay by PayPal and shipped to USA PayPal verified Address.
