DESCRIPTIONStunning pedestal vase designed by William Moorcroft as part of Macintyre's "Aurelian" line. Dates to around the late 1890s. Features geometric and floral motifs in rich blues, oranges and gilding on a milky-white surface. Measures about 6-3/4" and 7" across. This vase's glowing, sparkling presence will be a highlight of your home. CONDITIONNo chips or cracks. Some areas of gilt loss. Light crazing in places, both outside and in. A spot of blue near one main design, which may be on top of glaze, although I have not tried to remove it. Speckling under lip on neck.
