Old Stone Indian Axe Full Grooved Hard Stone Pecked Surface Hawkins County Tenn - $88 - (Kingsport, TN)

Found by my dad in the late 1970's near Phipps Bend in Hawkins County Tennessee. Near the Holston River. No repairs or breaks that I can see. Appears to be a granite stone, surface is well pecked and has a nice patina. There is some surface marking, probably from rocks and debris in the field. Very nice artifact.
